HondaJet
HIGH-END COLLATERAL AND CAMPAIGN FOR AN ELITE CLASS OF PRIVATE JET.
HondaJet is not what most people expect when they hear the name Honda. Conceived in the late 1990s by lead designer Michimasa Fujino and developed over nearly two decades, the HondaJet HA-420 represents one of the most ambitious engineering undertakings in Honda's history. Headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, Honda Aircraft Company brought the jet to market in 2015 — and by 2017 it had become the top-selling twin-engine very light jet in the world.
The HondaJet Elite took that foundation further. Priced at $5.2 million at launch, the Elite series was built to redefine what a very light jet could be — faster, longer range, and more refined than anything in its category.
the challenge
A $5 million private jet doesn't sell itself the way conventional products do. The buyer is discerning, time-scarce, and accustomed to the highest standard of everything — including the materials put in front of them. Honda Aircraft needed sales collateral and a campaign that could hold their own in rooms where luxury is the baseline, not the aspiration.
The creative work had to communicate performance and precision without feeling cold, and aspiration without feeling indulgent. It needed to speak the language of people who have already succeeded — and are still moving.
The centerpiece of the project was a high-end printed brochure for the HondaJet Elite — a luxury sell-in piece designed to tell the full story of the aircraft to its target buyer. Every production decision was made with the same intention as the jet itself: nothing unnecessary, nothing overlooked. The brochure wasn't a spec sheet dressed up in good typography. It was an experience built to match the caliber of what it was selling.
The campaign work took a sharper, more confident tone. These weren't taglines built on aspiration from the outside looking in. They were written for people already at the top — a knowing nod to the way driven people actually think. Bold without being arrogant. Self-aware enough to have a sense of humor about it.
Outcome
The work delivered sales collateral worthy of a $5 million aircraft and a campaign voice that understood its audience. For Honda Aircraft Company — an aerospace company still earning its place in the luxury conversation — the creative gave the HondaJet Elite the presence to compete not just on performance specs, but on brand.
